If you could meet anybody dead or alive who would it be? Love to meet Paul Mcartney. Love to meet Charles Bukowski(he's dead) although, would really like to drink with him. Also Bob Villa...love Bob Villa(he's the house fixer guy).

Favorite alcoholic drink? Hmmmmmmm.....that's complicated. Tequila Sunrise before dinner. Whiskey all other times

Any habits? Rock and Roll is a habit...but a good one.

What do you do to occupy yourself while on the road? Read, sleep, drink, meet girls

Madonna, Blondie, or Cyndi Lauper? Blondie....go get Blondies greatest hits right now if you don;'t have it. In her prime she was so hot. And musically she is so much better than the other two. But I do respect Madonna. She's a mom.

What albums are you listening to right now? Black Rebel Motor Cycle Club, Sloan_"pretty together", The Strokes, Bob Dylan-"Love and Theft"

What was the first album you ever bought? Either E.L.O- "Discovery or Queen - "The Game"

Where do you see Will Hoge five years from now? Recording, touring and continuing to take over the world.

How are shows different now compared to pre-Atlantic shows? The only difference is our record can be heard by more people in more places.

What's on your Christmas list this year? A tour of Europe, peace in the middle east, to be closer with friends, to enjoy everyday I'm alive, maybe a new tattoo, and to find what I'm looking for. *** and maybe a mp3 player***

What was the last concert you went to (besides your own)? Black Rebel Motorcycle Club at The Exit-In

How was your tour with Midnight Oil? It was amazing...when they come back to the states you guys should really check them out. They come out rocking every single night. And they are the most genuine people you've ever met.

Once you become a rock star, is it suddenly easier to meet girls? (Question courtesy of Rolling Stone #870) I "dated" more before the band...but if we run into a rock star..we'll let you know. :)

Here's the "How important is it to you that this record do well?" question.It's important that people know that someone is trying to make honest, real music. When we go out and play and have fun..it makes this record successful..even if we never sell a copy.

Excluding everything that's happened to you musically this past year, what is one dream that you wish would come true? To be a better person and make more true life long friends

What does music mean to you? Why did you decide to make music your life? Everything- I've happily given up everything to play music. It's in your blood- you have to.

Was Huey Lewis one of your greatest influences? No- but he sure can wear plaid

What were your childhoods like? I loved music- had lots of friends and traveled a lot w/my parents. Played soccer for about 8-10 years but when I started picking up the bass it was all over. Then I discovered punk rock

What made you guys decide to do this? For the two of you that did the whole college thing, as you put it Will at the Vandy show, what did you study? I always wanted to do this. It's just inside. I studied communications/economics. Loved advertising and writing

When you were little what did you want to be when you grew up? I got a drum set when I was 5 or 6. My parents say I would wake them up at 7 in the morning banging on the drums. I don't know if I knew I wanted to do this- but music just made me happy.

Which song of yours is the most personal/your current favorite on the album? Let me be lonely is "our" sort of punk rock and joy song- I like it a lot and Your Fool is cool

Do you feel like you're 'in the big show' now? Not yet- but on the way

What ONE musical artist do you admire most? Probably Paul McCartney- He is a talented singer and song writer who is also a bass player. He also really seemed to love what he did and continues to do. He still has that passion. Also I admire my father musically. I love to hear him sing.

What CD's are you listening to now? Sloan- Pretty Together/The Donnas- Donnas Turn 21/Ryan Adams- Gold/ Tenacious D- Tenacious D/ Lou Reed- Greatest Hits

Who is the best driver of the tour van? Kirk is the only driver for 99.9% of the time

What is one thing we should know about each member of the band that we might not? We all like to rock out to Boston-eeeek.

What are your favorite foods? Italian, Italian, Italian

Most creative time of day? At night after 11:00- or writing after a few cocktails seems to work.

What one TV show/movie/author are you addicted to? Author- Charles Dukowski- check out his book "Love is a Dog from Hell." Don't get to watch TV much. Love movies- I think John Cusak in High Fidelity is great. Also Grosse Point Blank.

If you could have any band open for you, who would it be? Probably bands that I personally like- Cheap Trick, Sloan, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

Who has the most 'style' among you? Style is a personal thing. I think each person has their own unique style. Which is good.

Who is the smoothest talker? Hmmmm- Hard to say.

Who decides the set list each night? Will tells Kirk and it's a surprise for us. (Brian and I)

Ever get stage fright? Sometimes Yes. Couldn't say why or when. It just happens sometimes.

What were you like in high school? A cut up- always got in trouble for making people laugh out loud in class.

What is the one personal item that you have to have on the road with you to make it feel more like home? I carry a silver box with an elephant on the lid. Inside I have pictures, stickers, and other various things.

What was your impression of San Francisco? Do you have any plans to come to SF again, and if so when? I loved it- want to stay for a week or two. Very up-beat vibe.

You always seem to have the best bands to tour with, do you find that playing with these other groups influence your music style at all? No- but it does keep you on your toes. You always try to do better each night.
