Chapter Three: DEADLY GAMES
The air was hot and dusty, cutting into the throat. Robert squirmed through the gap and climbed to his feet. He blinked.
"Impressive."
That was undeniable. The chamber was shaped like a vaulted gothic cathedral, carved from the solid rock, and polished until it shone. The flickering red light came from the windows. Where one would have expected stained glass, molten lava bubbled. It was impossible to see if there was any physical barrier across the window, or if some other imperative prevented the magma oozing into the chamber, but none the less, it was irrefutably there. The Doctor rummaged in his pockets, extracting a computer disk. He scrutinised it for a moment, before bowling overarm straight at one of the windows. The disk vanished into the lava with a slight hiss.
"Just a telekinetic barrier," he murmured, then chuckled. "Well, that's put a stop to the Microsoft Earth Invasion strategy anyway... I've been meaning to get rid of that for centuries..."

DOCTOR MOVE TO THE CENTRE OF THE CAVE

"Yes, I thought this feat of egoism would be down to you. Rather a stupid waste of energy, don't you think? Hmm?"
