Rule #1: Learn Your Opponents Early

Will Mega wasn't just trying to get to know people. He needed to find out how to make it more entertaning. Since it is a game, get the most you can out of people early on. Furthermore, it's easier to expose your competition's weakness later on when you may need to.

Rule #2: Control Your Opponents, Do Not Let Them Control You

Although Mega may have "held court" with his houseguests by day 3. He was already having some of the weaker contestants come to him for approval on their character in the house.

Rule #3: Point Out the Other's Contradictions

This rule is crucial to and is not possible without enforcing Rules #1 & #2. It can help with forming alliances. Other's are more likely to side with you when it comes to nomination time.

Rule #4: Be a Leader, Not a Follower

Will used what he knew best as a tool to get others to follow him. Since people were willing to do what worked best as a group, they would follow. This is a perfect time to enforce Rules #1 & 2. As he told George, "I'd rather create my own flow.".

Rule #5: Fit Into a Similar Circle

This didn't work out for Will, but he didn't really care to follow it anyway! Most of it had to do with the show's casting. If you can do this, it makes the competition less stressful as you have others to relate to. Other's with similar experience can empathize easier with your reactions to things as an individual.

Rule #6: Don't Conform to Everything the Group Does

Be your own person. Following everyone and everything that goes on in the house doesn't help your chances of winning. It only enables you to be a puppet. A dependent who just accepts anything Big Brother throws at you.

Rule #7: Don't Lie to the Group

It is one thing to form alliances, but trying to con the entire house results in them alienating you from "bonds" being formed in the house.

Rule #8: Have a Sense of Humor

Will was able to take a hilarious viewpoint at Big Brother by laughing with others and not compromising who he was. He used his experience and differences with others to make the house a fun place to be in.

Rule #9: Hold to Your Beliefs

On more than one occasion, Will Mega declared his belief in God and his knowledge of self. Not just holding to them, but stating your beliefs can get you through any circumstance. As he told Jordan. "I'd rather die in a grave standing on my feet than, than live begging on my knees."

Rule #10: Stand Up for Yourself

Even when the chips are down, it doesn't help to let people walk all over you. If you've adhered to the above rules, you can handle any confrontation they throw at you.

Rule #11: Form an Alliance

There is an underlying theme in the fight between Eddie and Will. Will was trying to form an Alliance with Eddie. Notice when he points out how the men have a similar vision on spending the house money and having the ability to compete as "soldiers". And that they don't complain behind each other's back. The problem was the other Houseguests were not in that mindset. So Will was kind of left hanging when trying to apply this rule.

Rule #12: Never Let them Figure You Out

Even in his last days in the house, Cassandra still couldn't figure out Mega's mindset. This is because he wouldn't let her. You stay on top of the game when they don't know your next move. Incidentally this keeps the viewers watching and people never really sure of how to vote against you.

Rule #14: Don't Make It Easy

Will continued to make the "competition" in the Big Brother House as challenging as he could. He forced the other houseguests to change the way they think and do things, engaging them in the game more than they expected to.
