A view West down the valley from Five Open Books, with The Folly and Camp 4 Wall on the right, The Cathedrals in the middle, and the flank of Sentinel Rock at far left.
The Folly viewed side on from the Yosemite Falls trail. The Good Book (5.10d) is initialled and follows the gorgeous square cut corner for much of the height of this shot. Note the monstrous and very fresh talus field below - massive rockfalls have been pounding down this route (since about 2000 I think).
A more front on view of The Folly from down by the Merced River. The Good Book is initialled again, but this shot shows the source of all the rockfall - check out the massive scarring above the route. You would have to be totally f%^#ing insane to climb anywhere near here.
