Glacier Point

Royal Arches on the left, Half Dome obscured at the top, and Glacier Point on the right. We got used to views like this....

But thankfully we had some nice days too!

Glacier Point viewed from across the valley. Most of the climbing is on the smooth Glacier Point Apron slabs at bottom left. The diagonal ramp leading up to the snowy gully at top right is apparently a fun day walk/scramble up to the valley rim.

A view from halfway up the endless summit slabs on Snake Dike, with Glacier Point on the left. Note the big scars from recent rockfall.... it is not a good place to climb!
