During a bench racing session with the guys one night a conservation happens. "Hey I know what would make that wagon go fast". "A motorcycle motor". General nodding of heads from all the car nuts. Then another buddy pops up "hey I gota dead motorcycle in the weeds, ya want it?" "Well what is it" is my reply. "Well its only a Honda CB650". Hey its free why not. It ran two years ago just needs carbs cleaned out. Sure is my reply.
My brothers reaction. "You've had a motorcyle for 7 years running but none of them have run!
The carbs were toast. I will post a picture later on. They were so bad that the gas had congealed into brown cakes. It had actually eaten away some of the aluminum on the main jets. I have a set of carbs on order that I found on E-Bay.
Am I serious? Are you nuts? You will kill yourselve is jsut a few of the reactions that I get. We have a burnout contest at my church every August and it is my dream to pull up to the line with a wagon that will burn off the tires. Maybe this summer maybe not.
