History

The association was established in 1995 by a group of local teachers, parents and others interested in establishing a Highland Dance organisation that would pursue the aims of the group and represent their views and the interests of Highland Dancers both locally and nationally.

The Association has held successful Highland Dancing Championships each year in the Beach Ballroom, Aberdeen, supported by teachers and dancers from the whole of Scotland.
