Changes to
Feb 24 & 25

The sHOw Modular Model
Railroad will be featured at
the 1996 Bardstown Doll,
Toy and Train Exhibit
February 24, 1996 from
10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST
& February 25, 1996 from
12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Set
up time Saturday morning
begins at 6:00 a.m. CST.
The club receives $200,00 for
participating in this event.
We need all modules to be at
Bardstown to continue to be
invited to this moneymaker
for out club.
Club Brochure to
be distributed

A tri-fold brochure describing
the club and containing mem-
bership information and an
application has been printed
and will be distributed
beginning this month at
various locations.

Minutes
The sHOw Modular Model
Railroad Club met at 10:00 a.m.
at the Hobby Crossing during
the blizzard of '96. President
John Welther presided at the
meeting. Plans for the Train
EXPO at the Center for
Economic Development were
discussed. This is scheduled for
late April and the final dates
will be posted in the March
Newsletter. Workshops will
beginat the February meeting.
The first workshop will be
Weathering Buildings and
Rollin Stock. Bring your own
buildings and rolling stock. A
$2.00 fee will cover the other
materials. The club will meet
informally each Thursday from
6:00 to 8:00 P.M. to run trains,
see videos, slide shows, do
workshops. Call a member to
find out the location which will
change from week to week. A
financial report will be given by
the treasurer, Rumsie Butler at
the February meeting. He will
also report on the status of the
club t-shirts which we need to
wear at the train EXPOS.

sHOw Modular Model
Railroad Club will meet at
10:00 a.m. at the Hobby
Crossing in Bowling Green.
Plans will be made for the
next two train EXPOS at
Bardstown and Bowling
Green. A workshop will fol-
low the meeting. Weathering Buildings and Rolling Stock
will demonstrate how to age
and give the effect of fading
and weathering on your
buildings and rolling stock. A
$2.00 fee will cover expenses.
Bring your own buildings
and rolling stock. Topics for
other monthly workshops
will be made at this meeting.
If you would like to conduct a
workshop let it be known.
Club corners and back
boards are in need of repairs.
Dates for renovating will be
discussed. Hope to see you at
the meeting. Bring your
models to weather.
