Minutes

Business meeting met January 6,
1996 at Butler Motors, president
David Boyd presiding. Revised
standards were presented and
approved. These will apply to new
modules or any alterations to old
modules. The treasury amount was
unchanged. The Barren River
Imaginative Museum of Science has
extended an invitation for the
December EXPO to remain on display
untill the end of Jaunuary, In addition,
they would like us to create a
permanent layout in the loft area. A
drawing of the proposed layout will be
prepared for your comments at the
February meeting. The construction
would begin after the May EXPO and
should be completed by Christmas
1997. Plans were made to work at
Sonny Spillman's shop to construct
modules for new members and kits for
sale to new members wishing to
purchase the components. (NOTE:
this work session was scheduled for
January 18 but cccold weather
derailed that plan. Now we are using
an ON CALL plan on a Thursday or
Saturday when the weather permits.)
After the business meeting we visited
the BRIMS museum and ran trains.
Good to see all the old members and
new members at this meeting. Feels
like a club aaaagain! Next Meeting of The
sHOw at Butler Motors at 10:00 AM
Saturday February 3. Hope you can
all be there.
