GUEST SPEAKERS
We have invited our local councillors to the Open meeting, so please come along and express any opinions you may have about our area. We have also invited our local Home Beat Officer, PC Paul Back, who regularly reports back to our meetings about crime in the association area. PC Back has spoken to us about concerns regarding mopeds, motorcycles, electric and petrol scooters. It appears that a lot of young people, possibly without insurance are riding around our area on these vehicles causing a disturbance. The council and the police are actively dealing with this problem. Did you know that even electric and petrol scooters must be insured if ridden on the streets? For more information come along to the meeting and speak to PC Back in person.
21st ANNIVERSARY of the WILSON'S RESIDENTS' ASSOCIATION
The association will start its 21st year in 2006 and the committee would like to celebrate this landmark with an event. We have some ideas such as holding a party in St Giles Churchyard at the bottom of Wilson's Road, maybe with different stalls and activities. Would you like tobe involved ? Have you got any ideas of how we can make this a fun-filled day for everyone to enjoy? Please come along and share your suggestions.
