A widely used trainer aircraft for Allied pilots in the Second World War, called the SNJ by the Navy and the Harvard by the RAF, the T-6 was the transition between basic trainers and tactical aircraft for many would-be fighter pilots. Although lacking the speed of a fighter (205mph at 5,000ft), it was more manoueverable and easier to handle. Over 15,000 were made and used to train pilots in 34 different countries. This CFS1 version was originally designed by Chris Lampard and subsequently re-painted and modified by Ray Young, Larry_One and Bruno Duffort, who added a working tailhook.

I have added a new panel (modified from an FS2002 version by Michael Vader), which uses predominantly stock p-47 and p-51 gauges and includes some navigation aids. I have also adjusted the paint job and increased the maximum ammo load from 200 to 1200 - better safe than sorry, eh? ;-)

These files will install a small fleet of 5 Harvard T-6s: one lead (USAF) and four numbered (Blue 1 to Blue 4) for wing man and formation practice.
