Join 3NG, one of the biggest and most active virtual squadrons on the Zone!

Always looking for pilots with good attitudes and a sense of humour (must be 18+). Skill is NOT an issue (a squad is the best place to learn), but attitude IS! All welcome.

We fly FFA, inter- and extra-squad team matches, carrier operations, bomb runs and races at 90 - 100% and we're always exploring new avenues for development within this obssessive-compulsive game of ours... ;-) Join up and join in!

Currently recruiting for our small but growing European squad to fly in evenings and at weekends, European time (GMT +/- 2).

Simviation

The biggest online collection of freeware add-ons for Combat Flight Simulator 1, 2 & 3 and all versions of Flight Simulator, from FS98 to FS2004.

Also home to an extremely active set of forums relating to aircraft, panel, scenery development and other CFS and FS related issues. Well worth subscribing!

Home to Tailgunner 2 (TG2) and Brunhost (see Utilities for details) and a wealth of other CFS-related files, including TG2-enabled Ju87 (Stuka), Messerschmidt Bf110c and Fairey Swordfish aircraft and a very nice Gloster Gladiator.

RAF Combat Flight Simulations

James Elwood's site offering some imaginative add-on campaigns based loosely around actual events in the English Channel (1942), Norway (1940-44) and Malta (1942).

Extensive scenery for Norway and Malta and a range of scenery and mission-related files (e.g., exploding object and ship objects libraries) can be found in the Scenery section.

Also includes a range of excellent aircraft, including another excellent Gladiator and Swordfish, a Westland Lysander, Spitfire Vb, Heinkel He115 seaplane and a number of Italian aircraft (Macchi 205 Veltro and Sm79 Sparviero)
