| of the top half dozen female jazz singers of our time. River Cities Jazz of course, is Wisconsin Rapids very own 17 piece big band who entertains jazz and big band fans virtually every Thursday night at the Rapids All-American Bistro. Jazz fans mark your schedules and take off work if you must for this sure to be great concert. It all takes place Friday September 9th at 7:30PM at the Wisconsin Rapids Performing Arts Center. Tickets are on sale now at Hieds Music, Daly Drug, Winslows Hallmark (Rapids Mall) and at the Cultural Center. Tickets are $10.00 in advance and $12.00 at the door. | Where's The Jam? |
| Central Wisconsin- Here's the latest Jam session information for all you players and music fans who just can't get enough! Gilson's Music and Pro Sound audio (one of our fine sponsors) is currently hosting three different Jams per month! Plenty for you maniacs to get your ya-ya's out! The first occurs on the first Friday of the month at Jims Village Pump in Vesper. Number two takes the stage on the second Thursday of the month at Lances in the Rapids. The finale takes place the final Friday of the month at Michaels Landing in Friendship. Yet another Jam is hosted monthly on the first Monday of the month by Hieds Music at Hollyrocks. All musicians, bands and music fans are encouraged to go on out and jam or just have fun. |
