Born 23-Jan-1858 and died unknown date

Dely's birth was reported in the Shasta Republican dated 23-Jan-1858 which may not be her actual birth date. See "Shasta County California 1852-1880, Births, Deaths, Divorces and Marriages Recorded Elsewhere" by Corrine G. Hoffpauir (1986). The 1870 WA Census for WallaWalla County, page 314 gives her age as 11.

When Dely's father's estate was probated in 1893, she was listed as Josephine McGoon living in Portland, OR, by her stepmother. Her husband Charles died and is buried beside her parents in Portland along with an infant. She evidently had remarried prior to her father's death in 1893.
