The Destruction Of Mother Earth

A mutated serpent mistakenly blessed with wings of flight,
Took to the Eastern skies one mischievous night.
To deceive the swaying winds for self-delight with words of trite,
Until the winds set their eyes on the Western skies.

The West wrestled with the confronting East.
Embroiled in a wind-to-wind struggle.
Spiraling down plundering the ground, who spat back in protest.
Flinging sticks and stones as the Trees turned wrathful.

Mother Earth's tears fell to the ground,
Turning forsaken Valleys into mortified Seas.
Without a clue the Poles picked sides.
Armies of hail stormed in from the North and South hurling icy stones.

Deafening thunderous clouds charged unswerving,
Across the Skies striking and igniting the land.
Sifting sands blinded by darkened rage turned and rolled in agony,
As rocks and standing stones sunk underground calling out for a helping hand.

While Specters hid in the twisting twining Trees shaking in fear with no escape,
As their embedded rooted limps trembled incased in the quaking soil.
And Mounting Beasts took shape rioting on Mountain tops,
Spewing molted rocks which made the Oceans boil.

The Moon disarrayed by Earths misplaced anger,
Collapsed and descended to the ground with out a sound.
The Sun flared one last time, to weak in grief to shine, ceased to breathe.
As the self destruction of Mother Earth ripples out through time and touches every star.
