The theme of the show was "Peace" and attracted 26 arrangements in total, a stupendous achievement for the village. A total of £330 was raised for church funds which is another excellent result.
The judge (Joan Wells) was impressed by the overall quality of the arrangements along with the imagination and thought that had gone into producing them. Several awards were made, with the judge's choice going to Mrs Yates for her display depicting "Motherhood" whilst the people's choice went to Mrs Austin for "The Garden" which decorated the font. Special awards were made in the children's section going to Abigail Bullock and Matthew Gowshall.

Many thanks have to be made to the people that made this festival possible and bringing such enjoyment to a large part of the village whether they took part or simply visited the church to see the displays.
