The meeting will be held in the meetings rooms at the Lutheran Church on the corner of Tokay and Midvale Boulevard in Madison, Wisconsin.

The meeting starts at 11.00am and runs to approximately 3.30pm.

Meeting Overview

A typical meeting consists of a meal and social followed by various items of Society business. The Manx national anthem is sung, and is followed by reports from the various committee members. The main feature of the program is items of cultural interest such as video of the Isle of Man, presentations by members or guests, and updates on festivals held by other Celtic groups in the state. Recent presentations have included, a talk by Norman Standish (descendant of Myles Standish one of the first settlers in the USA), and a recital by Navan, a Madison area quartet singing songs of Celtic origin.

During the meeting, the library of the society is made available to members to check out books and other materials.
