The Suitors - 1995 Featuring "Pug" the Dancing Needle logo, The Suitors is reminiscent of a 17th Century English band sampler. This sampler was worked in Broider Wul and Anchor floss. | Bairn of Dundrennon - 1995 A piece from my sampler study series. This design is based upon 18th Century Scottish schoolgirl samplers. The charts in this series were to focus on particular time periods and/or geographic locations. They included a page of text on the charactistics of the sampler and a bibliography. |
