Dhyanalingam
- A Miracle
-
Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev
Dhyanalingam
is a tremendous miracle. When I say a miracle, I am not talking about all those
silly things that normally people consider as miracles. Producing material
objects, producing this for that, meddling with the process of life. For me, the
greatest miracles is, if you live your life to its totality, if you can live
here knowing all the dimensions of life, if you can go through this life free
from greed, fear, hatred, if you can go through this life untouched, if you can
play with life whichever way you want, still life cannot do anything to you,
life does not leave any scars on you. That is the miracle that I am always
looking for. That is the miracle that we are working to manifest in
everybody’s life in so many ways. That is the miracle of Sahaja Sthithi Yoga
also. If a person does not realize the miracle that he himself is, the miracle
that life is, the miracle that holds you on this planet, the miracle that makes
you die, the miracle that makes you be born once again – if a person does not
understand this, if a person does not experience this, such a fool will go about
seeking these silly miracles or the so called miracles of transforming this into
something else, something else into something else. Fundamentally meddling with
life. Fundamentally meddling with the process of life. If you have tasted life,
if you have known life, if you have experienced life in some sense of depth to
it you will know that meddling with it is the most foolish thing to do because
you cannot make it anymore beautiful than it already is. The only thing you can
do is, allow yourself to experience the beauty of life. Allow yourself to
experience the grandeur of life. Anything else you do with it is bound to be a
stupid act. From your limited sense of understanding, whatever else you do,
whatever else drives you to do whatever you do with your life is a very immature
and juvenile act. So,
Dhyanalingam, I call it a miracle because this is a possibility. The sphere of
Dhyanalingam, the energy of Dhyanalingam creates a possibility for every human
being that comes in contact with this, either actually in its vicinity or just
in his consciousness, if he is just willing, if he is just willing to open
himself up, it will be available to him, it will become a possibility for him to
know life in its utmost depth, to experience life in its totality. I am …I
don’t know, if I say happy, if I say ecstatic, if I say whatever, to present
this to the world, to offer this to the world, whatever word I use will be
improper. But, in a way I am relieved that it is done. This is not my will; this
was my Guru’s will that this must happen. These three lifetimes have been
spent towards fulfilling this, with so many people’s love, support and
understanding, above all, the Grace of the Guru. Today it has happened. I just
feel empty today. I cannot say I am happy, I cannot say I am fulfilled, I cannot
say anything. All I know is, I am absolutely empty today. It has been so since
the consecration day because suddenly the very purpose of my life is lost. I
think we need to bring some understanding of the science behind the Dhyanalingam.
This whole aspect of what we call as Shiva and Shakthi is about the duality of
life. When you live here in your sense perception, through your senses when you
experience life, the whole life, the whole experience of life is in a certain
duality. It is this duality, which is traditionally personified as Shiva and
Shakthi. In Yoga, we call this Ida and Pingala. In the far eastern cultures they call it yin and yang. Or you can simply call it masculine and feminine or it can be the logical and the intuitive aspect of you. The two dimensions which make you and the world around you. It is based on this that all religious sciences have grown. It is based on this that life is created that without these two dualities life does not exist as it does right now. In the beginning everything is primordial, there is no duality, but once creation happens there is a duality. It is to experience this duality, it is to limit you to this duality that the sense organs have come.
