High School School Journalism: Lesson Plans - The lesson plans featured on this site cover the following areas: advertising, critical thinking about media, decisionmaking skills, editorial writing, ethics, first amendment, libel, photography, print vs. electronic media, prior restraint, reporting and basic writing.

Journalism Lesson Plans from the NYTimes - The lesson plans featured on this site cover journalism curriculum for students in grades 6 to 12. Many of the lessons cover current event topics, news angles, print vs. digital, photography, and much, much more. Forty-two lessons from which to choose.

AskERIC Lesson Plans - The site features eight lesson plans, mostly for lower grades. The topics cover abbreviations and acronyms, creating a newspaper, interviewing, journalism reporting, editorial writing, school news and school broadcasting.

EdHelper -This site gives instructors 74 lesson plans for the classroom, ranging from writing to broadcasting to law and ethics.

Propaganda Lesson Plans -This site has a myriad of webquests and activities strictly dealing with propaganda technigues in advertising.

StudyWeb for Professional Development - Excellent source for lesson plans in almost any subject related to journalism. It coveres writing, ethics, cartooning, grammar, and photography.

Teach-nology - Teach-nology offers 31 lesson plans, some including webquests. Students can create their own newspapers, study current events, learn about photojournalism during war, and much, much, more.
