On The Wings Of Love

Chapter 1

Encounter At The Airport

Brianna just checked in and took a seat waiting for her plane. It was quiete a cold morning in february, foggy and wet. The blonde girl brushed her hair with one hand, with the other one she hold her cell phone, calling her mother.

"Hi mum, I am at the airport now, my plane's gonna take off in about two hours...I already miss you all!" She ended the call and turned around, just to see a young dark haired boy strolling away with her bag. She jumped up and ran after him.

"Hey, that's my bag, not your's!" she called. The boy stopped that quick that Brianna bumped into him. Both of them fell off the ground, the boy smiling, the girl a little bit angry.

"What do you want with my bag?" Brianna asked furiously, not even trying to get up.

"That's your's?" The boy smiled sheepishly. "I must have taken the wrong bag, by mistake! I'm sorry..." He stared at her, his ocean blue eyes moved across her face and body.

"Would you mind stop looking at me this way?" she demanded. The boy stood up and grabbed her hand to help her up.
    "My name's Mark. And what's your's?"

"Kinda fast mover, heh?" She eyed him extensively, starting with his feet, finishing melting in his eyes. Brianna wasn't able to think, or even to speak. Mark looked at her with rising interest.

"Come on, your parents must have given you a name, haven't they??" he asked teasingly, but friendly, with a warm tone in his gorgeous voice.

She furiously shook her head, and her mind came back to her.
"My name's Brianna, Brianna Summers." She took his hand, and felt his warmth, his heartbeat. She smiled and winked her dark green eyes. But suddenly it flashed into her mind. She shied away, took her hand back very abruptly while groaning. Mark watched her moving. What had he done wrong? Brianna tilted her head, intimidated. Her eyes seemed to say sorry, but her beautiful lips didn't move.

"Sorry..." Mark whispered. Brianna gritted her teeth, with a strained expression on her face.

"...not your fault...sorry, damn..." she managed to mumble. What was she trying to conceal? Mark frowned, but kept on smiling at her.

A voice from the counter called: "All passengers of flight AE 198 B to Dublin may come to gate 3, all passengers of flight AE 198 B to Dublin, gate 3!" Brianna smiled apologizingly.

"Think I have to go now..." But she didn't move. The voice from the counter called again:     "All passengers of flight AE 198 B to Dublin may come to gate 3, all passengers of flight AE 198 B to Dublin, gate 3!"

"You are going to Dublin?" Mark asked couriously. Brianna nodded, smiling. As the third call for her flight came out of the speakers, she quickly took her bag and said     "Bye! See you!" to Mark. She didn't know how this would go on, but she had lost her heart.
