Among your services I read that there is one called "constructive criticism" (something like that) for artists interested in having opinions and advices from experts. So, I'd like to know how to do in order to receive this criticism of my paintings you can visit at my site:

comments = Haven't had much time to explore it yet, but this looks like a great site. I'm hoping we get local internet access in our little town soon, so I can give you more attention. By the way, I clicked "photographer" on the list below because it's what I'm best known for, but I'm also a painter.

comments = Mahalo for the web site!

Yes, indeed...we are entering the new world. But maybe...
this "Brave New World of Artists!" is exactly what we could
all use to inspire us all back into a common ground of
internal subjectiveness and not slave minds...that will
be a doorway back into higher consciousness and peace!

I am developing some plans on Maui for a center for art
"awareness" (not technique & craft) and a museum called:
The International Dreaming Children Museum on Maui. It is
about communication...and the desire is to create a space
and place where humans use and interact through creativity
to learn how to share peaceful mind-solving creativity
instead of violent resolvement of differences...

Well, that is my intent. And it is a start and Maui I feel
would be a wonderful place to nurture this into reality.
The local feedback has been very hopeful. Now I have to
find the balance in my own life so I can enjoy this
paradise and make sure that my own dreams do not pull
me out of life as well...and in a way what I often think
about the reality of being an artist. Far too often,
artists face immensely struggle filled lives...I want
that to change with re-educating the public here on Maui.

Well, again, I enjoyed your site and will come back to it
again and again. Artists make the best friends most of
the time. Becuase they are not here in their hearts to
win fame and adoration...they are here in this reality
becuase they appreciate the gift of life and time...

My best regards,

Chris

Happy to find you again!
It is a joy to revisit your paintings as well as favorite early
writings re Tuttle and Bess (I've misplaced my coveted catalog).
So very interesting to read about your experience with Shapinsky...I was
introduced to his work some years ago and have heard and seen little
since that time.
I am thankful for your efforts in the production of this site ...
find the content of much interest; thoughtful and encouraging...particularly
meaningful at this time...a gift. I will return.
All good wishes.

email = dfryeffp@mindspring.com
comments = The list of 100 was really great. I'm going to recommend it to my artist friends here in NYC. Artists need hope. Not for sales, or grants, or money, but hope for a positive and accessible mind-set about what they are doing. Your list of 100 is all about getting one's self centered in the scope of one's own autonimous artistic vision and resulting life engagements.

It's really tough to balance the creatively-interactive life with the socially-interactive life. These two agendas are so differing in their respective natures that they are nearly opposed to one another.

Thanks for the linkage!!! It's a very big intelligent help.

comments = Welcome back..new interview that is..You make a very good point about competition in art.. A question I have..and I think I know 'my' answer, but would like your opinion. You mention 'school' in proving ones self..does school have to be a road that must be taken? My answer is 'no' and I think you would agree to a certain extent..'do the art for yourself' is one of many ways to look at it...but..How much does 'school' play in the 'art world' as such. Good luck with the show ..look forward to seeing more.

comments = The list is wonderful. It grounds you as an artist. This isn't brain surgery... it's art.
The best that anyone can really hope for is a smile from someone. Other than that it's all gravy.
It shouldn't be all about deadlines and bugets, however sometimes it sure feels like it. But today...
I got reminded that it all SHOULD be fun... and that I chose this career path. It's what I'm all about.
Tell your viewers that one should look up from the monitor once and a while... don't be so dam uptight!

If you get a chance take a look at my personal site and TAO. I'de like to
know your thoughts on both my personal images and the two sites.

Dear Addison,Getting ready to paint,thought I'd drop you a line.I'm
quite the survivor over the last few years. You've been with me every
step of the way.I'm starting a new jailhouse painting tonite,I got one
canvas left. I feel I think to much about painting and not enough
creating paintings.I thought alot about Matisse and Hoffman today.
I can't get them out of my mind.No matter how small the work space or
how destitute one my get painting must go on,at least for me.My
renaisance as an artist is yet to come my be by the time I reach 50.
Applied for work at Harvard Coop,6.25 hr.,20 hrs.a week.LowEnough to on
Social Security stay and enough extra income to buy paints etc. We'll
see what happens!
There's no challenge in the world like that of abstract painting, nothing
other than a drink can stop me from fullfilling my dream of a large
studio like I had 10 years ago during my old "Caro days"But this time it
will be paint that speaks not steel. The new ovals got alot of Pollock in
them, its amazing how much milage you can get out of a few tubes of
paint and a pallete knife! On ward and up word,Hope your painting, can't
wait to see your studio.Don't know what to do about the printer? Your
devoted friend in art,Ulick
