Just another dreary day at RAF Stanley in the Falkland Islands.

Sometimes the arrester hook would catch on the prefabricated panels the runway was made of.

Nice bright day for a change.

Just taking off.

This was taken from the back end of a Hercules that had been modified to carry out

"in flight" refueling.

Coming in a bit closer to catch the basket.

Starting to refuel.

This is me in my "stand by" mode whilst on R & R on Saunders Island on the Falklands.
