The city of Coral Gables, with its pintoresque arches and roads, its houses conforming to a very strict code of aesthetics, its trees full, lush and majestic, its considered by many of the inhabitants of Miami a major headache at the very least. It caters to the rich firsts and foremost, and its design is one that would leave a non-resident wandering around aimlessly for hours. Still, many call this city home.
The city does have its merits, nonetheless. It is spectacular to behold, to travel its streets and take in the beauty of the houses and gardens. The dominant Mediterranean architecture seems oftentimes out of place in the middle of such a bustling city as Miami, but it provides a certain refreshing vista.
Still, for all these attributes, were not for one very important reason, this city would be just another hunting ground at the most for Kindred. Coral Gables, in history books at least, was the dream of one man, George E. Merrick, but in truth, Coral Gables was, and still is the dream house and playing ground for the Primogen of the Toreador clan, Anastasia.
It is because of this that Coral Gables has importance to Kindred politics, and in its very center, standing majestic and proud, overlooking the city in all its glory, lies the nexus of of the web, The Biltmore Hotel, home to Anastasia and the Toreador clan.
