In the last seven years, Nina has risen from the ranks of novice to become a primary player in the nightly game of vampiric politics that envelops Miami. Currently an acting Elder for the clan, a most high honor bestowed upon her by Anastasia, Nina has already made her mark upon the Miami scene, showing her Toreador streak prominently.
Nina now owns an Art Gallery on Lincoln Road, on South Beach. Set to open soon, it promises to be a big event, and an amazing gallery, sporting new artists as well as old masters, among them, a rumored, lost piece by Leonardo DaVinci.

Also, recently Nina came into possession of a 300 year-old mansion in County York, England. The historic residence has stood near the border with Scotland, and has witnessed countless historic events. It also houses a history of its own, one that Nina stumbled upon by chance.
In the Library, a massive room containing close to 10,000 books from all ages, two scrolls, dated circa 5,000 BC, surfaced, hidden within the pages of Lord Jonathan MacIntosh, Master of the estate during the late 16th century. An Archeologist by hobby, Lord MacIntosh and his partner, unnamed in the records, stumbled upon a cache of Summerian artifacts, containing within the two scrolls, sometime in the 1580's. Written in an ancient and archaic cuneiform script, only pieces of the text could be roughly translated, revealing an alternate version of the Judeo-Christian Genesis, a story in which a different First Woman, named Lilitu, features prominently.
Fate has delivered into Nina's hands a small piece of a sinister puzzle that began before Time was born, yet one that approaches a resolution in the coming times.
