Hello I'm Basil Maloney. I’ve always liked the VW Cabriolet because of its Euro style, road handling and fun-in-the-sun mystique. This site is dedicated to my ever trusty and faithful 1988 VW Cabriolet Wolfgang The Talking Volkswagen. He got his name because his alarm talks to you in English instead of just making chirping sounds. I've owned a number of Volkswagens and currently have two VW convertibles; a 1988 Cabriolet and 2002 Cabrio GLX. I'm also the cofounder of the VW Cabriolet & Cabrio Club on Yahoo.
