Bitty came to me from Columbus, OH thru Lab Rescue, direct from her home. She had four rides to the door here. All four people were "dog people" and just loved her. They could not say enough about her great disposition and sweetness. She adapted well from the first day and was right at home.


Being blind, She finds her way around well, was 9 yr. old on 12/19/99.

She sleeps most of the time here as I have no other dogs to play with her. She did not seem to know how to play with toys and I tried her on everthing from big knot tuggies to squeakies and she is not interested.

I take her out for walks around my huge yard (50 X 100) on a long 25 ft. longe line leash (from horses). She asks to go out by coming to me and panting.

She never drank water much, so I was afraid of urinary problems and started putting Northland Cranberry/ Cherry juice in water in a small cereal dish right after she comes in from peepee and she drinks it all up. I can tell if she wants more. SPOILED, but at least she drinks. If it does not have quite enough juice in she sniffs it, then 'looks' up at me until I put a bit more in then she drinks it !!!
