Wolfville Naturopathic Clinic

Naturopathic Medical Training

In order to become a Nauropathic doctor, students must first
obtain an undergraduate education from an accredited
University with a focus on various science pre-requisites, including
biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, and psychology.
Prospective students must then apply and be accepted
to one of four diploma-granting institutions in North America.
The Naturopathic medical curriculum is an incredibly rigorous
four-year full-time program, involving extensive study
of traditional medical sciences such as anatomy, physiology,
pathology, and pharmacology, in addition to natural healing
methodologies like acupuncture, homeopathy, and botanical medicine.
Licensed Naturopathic Doctors must write and pass two sets of
North American Standardized Board Examinations before they may
legally use the title Naturopathic Doctor in many states and provinces.
