In DFC, your stats are very important. You can view your stats by typing info or information. As a wolf, the most important stats you have are strength, agility, and dexterity.

Strength - 16+
........ Affects your physical attack and your encumberance.
Constitution - 12+
............ Affects how many hit points you get each level, how often you are stunned, bleen, poison, and disease attacks, and how long you remain a corpse when you die.
Agility - 17+
....... Affects how long your timer is.
Dexterity - 17+
......... Affects shapeshift, evade.
Intelligence - 12+
............ Affects your perception.
Wisdom - 15+
...... Affects how much you pay to buy things(you pay less) and sell items(they give you more) and Dex + Wis = your shapeshift.

Your skill points, the points you use to train skill when you level, is a combination of your total or your stats percentages. Either way, the higher your total roll is, the more skill points you should receive.
