Part 10
Justin was pacing the room while JC was sitting on the bed, his ankle stopping him to do the same.
" You know something happened t him huh?" Justin asked, stopping in front of his friend. The brunet looked at his feet in shame.
" Probably."
" Shit JC! Why didn't you come to one of us before believing this man? Now Lance is probably in danger because of you." Justin said, before resuming his pacing.
" That's why I have to go. I have to do something." The older man pleaded quietly.
" You did enough." The younger snapped, raising an eyebrow from JC.
" Man if I didn't know better I would think you're in love with him. You defend him, you're almost more worried than I am. He obviously told you to keep me here and you listen to him, even if you know I should be outside, searching for him."
Justin stopped moving and flopped down on the bed beside JC. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. He knew he was probably making a fool of himself but he was worried. His ultimate goal was to see all his friends happy and they were far away from it.
" You know it's not that. It's just…you really screwed up."
" I know."
They both fell into a comfortable silence, waiting somewhat patiently for their friends to come back, hopefully with Lance.

Lance slowly opened his eyes, ignoring the throbbing pain in his head. First confused about his location, his eyes focused on his surrounding. He moved his head slightly on the side, only to be rewarded by a pain in the neck. He had to admit the chair he was in wasn't the most comfortable. If his hands had been free, he would have tried to ease the pain. But unfortunately he was tied. He tried to break away but froze when he heard a laugh.
" It's useless dear Lance. We made sure you would stay here." Serge sneered, walking out of the shadows.
" You're a sick bastard." Lance said, his voice low in anger.
" I don't think you understand Lance. You won't feel any pain when it will be over. Of course you won't be alive and that's sad. But sometime we have to make some sacrifice."
Lance glared at him, suddenly thankful he was tied because he would have probably tried to kill the man. He tried to move his arms again, with more force this time and almost succeed. He looked at Serge and saw him taking something in his pocket. His eyes widened at the sight of the syringe.
" Don't do this. Please." The blond man whimpered, trying to crawl deeper in the chair, even if it was impossible.
" I have no other choice. We can't let you run away. Trust me, it will be over soon."
The crazy smile was the last thing Lance saw before going back into darkness.

" Something happened." Chris said walking in the room with Joey after they had spent two hours searching for Lance. JC immediately stood up and walked to his friend.
" Are you sure?" Justin asked, moving beside JC and giving him the physical support he needed because of his ankle.
" We found this." Joey said, showing them the bag from the drugstore. " On the floor in the lobby. We asked question but no one has seen him come back. Something is wrong."
Before anyone could react, JC grabbed the bag and a cell phone and walked out of the room. He ran the best he could into the hall, taking the stairway to avoid their bodyguards. He didn't want any company. He was the reason of their current situation and would resolve it alone.
Once outside he climbed into the first cab he could find. Glancing at his watch, he knew it was useless to go back where the group was. They wouldn't be there anymore. They probably were ready for their 'big day', climbing onto a boat.
" I'll give you 200$ if you drive the faster that you can." He said to the driver. The man only nodded and sped up. On the way there, JC took a pill from the bottle; the pain in his ankle was driving him crazy.
Once there, he gave the driver his money and walked toward the big group waiting patiently. He didn't even tried to hide. Getting closer to the group, he could Serge motioning for some people to get on the boat. He tried to find Lance but couldn't see him anywhere. Panicked at first he decided to wait. If he was lucky he could go with the rest of the group and do something once inside. 'Please God, let get in without trouble.' JC begged silently.
After avoiding Serge and staying quiet, he managed to climb on the boat. He was surprised to see so much people there. He didn't there was so much 'believers'. He knew they would leave for the ocean soon and hurried up, trying to find Lance. It wasn't easy. Every place he went, Serge always seemed to be there.
He found an empty hall, leading to a single door. He walked slowly, afraid to get caught. When he finally reached the door, he held his breath and opened it. The sight made him flinch. Lance was still on a chair, unconscious. JC knelt beside him and gently searched for any trace of violence. Touching Lance's shoulder, he felt something wet. He looked at his fingers and was surprised to see them red. Panicking, he untied Lance from the chair and got him up. Lance's fell on JC, not waking him but letting a moan escaping his lips.
" Hold on Lance I'm getting you out of here." He dragged his young love in the hall and mentally searched for a discreet escape. Luckily, everyone was too busy to even notice the two men.
Back on the ground, JC delicately put Lance against a tree, out of the boat view. Breathing heavily, the brunet watched the boat going away, into the ocean, without Lance. Glancing at Lance, he reached for his phone and dialled 911. He told them where he was and hung up. He checked on Lance again, making sure he was still alive and hesitantly kissed him.
" I love you Lance."
" Josh…" the young man moaned, his eyes trying to open. JC caressed the blond hair, wishing he could stare into the sweet green eyes. It had happened because of him. It was his fault. Carefully to not hurt him, he took Lance's hand and intertwined their fingers together. He was afraid to touch him, afraid to hurt him more than he already was. When he saw Lance's eyes almost opening, he moved closer and touched Lance's temple softly. Automatically Lance's eyes closed again and he leaned into the touch, another moan of pain leaving the younger lips. Kissing the eyelids of the man he loved, JC pulled his hand away.
" I'll be back soon, I promise. I just need time. Forgive me."
He kissed him on the lips one last time before standing up and running away. Few minutes later, the ambulance could be heard.
