Input these Game Genie codes. With these codes in the game search the grassy area on Route 4, which is west of Cerulean city. Mew will appear commonly in the grass along with the regular pokémon there. Missing No

Missing No is a glitch that resulted from programming the red and blue versions. (Let's see you keep track of 150 permutations and combinations.) It's Super powerful but has weak defense. Keep in mind that it is a glitch and isn't a pokémon. It may cause problems such as scrambled, reversed pictures when fighting. It you save with it don't be surprised if you lose data. Use FLY and fly to either Fuchsia city or Cinnabar Island. If you are at Fuchsia city, surf to the beach of the Seafoam Isles. If you are at Cinnabar Island surf the eastern edge of it. Keep surfing the beaches of wherever you are until you run across a pokémon named M or Missing No. It should appear as a blur of scrambled pixels. Catch it and you have Missing No. It will appear as a person when called in the pokémon sub menu, and it isn't registered in the pokédex.
