Apple Dog Cookies (AKA Pill, what pill? Cookies)

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 1/4 cups nonfat dry milk
1 1/2 cups wheat germ
1 1/4 cups applesauce
Combine dry ingredients well. Stir in applesauce
1/2 cup at a time until dough has a sticky consistency.
Drop dough balls by tablespoons* onto slightly greased**
cookie pan. Bake in a 350 degree preheated oven, for 13-15 minutes.

NOTES : * - I recommend a non-fat cooking spray
** - You can make these bout any size, from tablespoon drops
up to the size of store bought chocolate chip cookies,
for instance. I use a standard cookie scoop, this makes
a nice cookie, about the size of a half dollar, and is very
convenient. I can fit 20 to a cookie sheet.
*** - Yes, these are soft enough that they are fantastic for giving pills with
:-)
These must be kept refrigerated. You can freeze these, also.

Dese are grate doggies. Dey are so good, momma took dem to a dachshund picnic
one time, and pawgot to label dem, and a bunch of hoomins was eating dem too and
told momma now good dey were!
