(for WoD players)

If you play WoD and you're getting annoyed at me for making this page, let me first explain what I'm planning to do with this page, what I'm not planning to do with this page, and last but not least, who I am.

First of all, all I'm really wanting to do with this page is offer a good, plain spoken site that explains exactly what WoD is in relation to Ayenee, and that it's not just another extension of the rules they use there. I want it to be clear and unmistakable, but I'm not aiming to be insulting (though I've gotten quite annoyed at people who seem to come into WoD trolling for arguments.)

I'm not wanting to set myself up as the "ultimate authority on all things WoD" nor am I trying to set up myself or anyone else as an ST who will tell people how to roleplay their already WoD-compatible characters in the freeform settings. That's not the aim of this page.

As well, I freely welcome any and all input that people might want to give on the subject of WoD, or to expand or alter this page. It is my page, and I do consider myself "editor" of it (if only because I'm the one responsible for it, ultimately, if something objectionable gets put up on it) but I'm freely admitting that I'm not the queen of all WoD, and that others know some things a lot better than I do. I'm damn good on the subject of HtR, I know a bit about VtM (I've played it for ages, tabletop, but haven't kept up with all the supplements, so I'm not knowledgeable on all the tiny details that might crop up) and I'm learning MtA and CtD - but for the others I know relatively little, only enough to sound like I've been paying attention *smiles*

As for who I am, my name is Shelley, and if you see me ooc I'm usually in either the Hollow_Shel or Shelley_Alma_Belle identities. I've been playing WoD online since about August of 2001, and have been doing it tabletop for about 11 years now. I've been doing table top role playing in general for 18 years as of this writing (November 2002) and I've got a number of ID's in chat that I role play to some extent or another. If you want to talk to me, catch me in the Shelley_Alma_Belle ID and I'm generally free to talk - but I'm a bear of very small brain, and I'm not able to role play and chat at the same time very well, so catching me when I'm in character means I'll be more than a little scatterbrained.
