Tower of Ghenjei

Set back from the bank of the River Arinelle in Andor stands a steel tower, two hundred feet tall and completely featureless.  Few know what this tower, named the Tower of Ghenjei, truly is.  Most common folk would probably never go near it again if they knew.

For the Tower of Ghenjei is an artifact which might very well predate the Age of Legends.  It serves as an entrance to the land of the Aelfinn and Eelfinn .  Much like the two mysterious ter’angreal which also serve as entrances to this alien land, little is known about the Tower of Ghenjei.  It would seem that even Aes Sedai know little of the tower.

There are those who know more of the Tower of Ghenjei than the Aes Sedai, though.  Those familiar with Tel’aran’rhiod might very well know of the tower.  While the Tower of Ghenjei is difficult to leave once entered in the world of man, in the World of Dreams it is virtually impossible to escape.

Those attempting to enter the Tower of Ghenjei must recognize the dangers.  Much can be gained in dealings with the Aelfinn and Eelfinn, but for those without knowledge escaping the Tower of Ghenjei can be a daunting task.
