can't find FFE in the shops! |
FFE
was taken off the shelves due to a disasterous release of the
game with lots of bugs. Soon a shareware copy is to be
released at the Eilte Club. |

try to install FFE but the installer locks up during sound
installation |
If
you selected 'Autodetect' it can sometimes cause the installer
to lock up, enter details manually. |
| I
can't run Frontier First Encounters from Windows, why not? |
FFE
wasn't released for Windows, however you can download a windows
version of the FFE execuitable and a great Windows FFE Setup
program from Life on
the Frontier. |
| The
Install program won't work |
You
must run the Install program in DOS mode only (not a DOS window).
Make sure that you're copy isn't corrupt. |
| What
program do I run to Install FFE |
Make
sure you Unzip all the files (eg. FFE Disk 1, 2 , &3)
to the required location and run 'INSTALL.exe'. You're in
business. |
