Check
that you are running the right file and are in complete DOS
mode. If you can't go to DOS mode, see the installation
section about downloading the Windows .exe file |

do I start in Ross 154? |
During
the startup screen, if you push 1 on the keyboard then you start
at Ross 154 (just like you did in Frontier: Elite II). |

can't load my Commander File! |
FFE
has a bug that means sometimes you save file is saved in an
unreadable format. What can I say! Just make sure
that you save - lots. |

don't have any sound during the game |
Check
you sound installation details, some cards just plain aren't
supported. Also - make sure that your speakers are plugged
in and turned on! |

Joystick won't work properly |
So?
FFE wasn't really made for a joystick - I just use the mouse and
keyboard, its far easier. |
