Barren earth
Hugs falling rain
A perfume to be worn
As rivers flow
In trains of light
Roaming in the dark
In silver notes they roar and flow
Rushing to the sea
But gentle rain
Like an old man’s tears
On crackled plains shall fall
6
Gently the wind caresses
The
laughing swaying grass
As golden leafs in glory fall
Rustling life to sleep
The
winds that howl
At skies so dark…
Naked rocks and trees
Echo on
The tortured screams
Of lonely winter blows
7
To be a stone
A lonely stone
To face yourself
When all alone
To cry in vain
At dirt and sky
To live in hope
And one day die
Of that and more
A green rock talks
To sleepy drops of rain
