Education: Hawley School of Engineering in Boston, Massachusetts.

George was educated in Saint John schools and at Chauncy Hall. Enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 1918-19. With Westinghouse Union Battery Co., 1920-28, first as a tracer in the drafting room, subsequently in several divisions, and become General Manager of Sales. With A.M. Byers Co. 1928-1946 as Advertising Manager, and organized the Engineering Service Dept.; 1936-46 Manager of Sales Promotion. 1946-63 with National Supply Co., Pittsburgh; in 1959 elected Vice President in charge of Personnel and Publicity. At the time of his retirement he was a Vice President of Armco Steel Corp, Pittsburgh. They were last known in Allison Park, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh.
