Outlook - The Canadian independents are always churning out quality talents, but only a few breakthrough the border and gain recognition in the States. In Quebec, IWS and EWR have produced some excellent wrestlers in late 2004, guys began trickling down into the US. While Kevin Steen, Excess 69 and Sexxxy Eddy were recognized for their in-ring ability, El Generico was picked up on for his uniqueness. A worker of the grain of those others, El Generico has a gimmick of being a crazy luchador and it gets over big with the fans. He is wildly entertaining and his exploits have taken him all the way to Southern California. While Generico's persona seems to detract from his ability to get a serious push, independents are such that he just needs to improve and get recognition from someone. El Generico has the color to match his ability and if those two improve steadily, how can he not get a crack somewhere?
