What are the sizes of the chapter books?
I have two book sizes to offer, which are listed in two plans; “Plan A” and “Plan B.” Plan A offers pages that are 5 ˝ x 7 and Plan B offers pages that are 8 ˝ x 11. Prices vary due to page size.

What would it cost to print a chapter book?
As mentioned above I have Plan A: 5 ˝ x 7, which is only $40.00 up to 30 pages, and Plan B: 8 ˝ x 11, which is only $60.00 for unlimited pages. Prices do not include the layout fee. To see the breakdown of both price plans, see “Fee Breakdown” at the left. Keep in mind that postage is already covered in these prices.

What is the cost for a different type of chapter book order?
Each time a new set of poems or a new short story is ordered, the same fees pertain to each new printing. Again, see the price list.

What rights do I get to keep?
All. My only intentions are to help you. By offering this opportunity to writers, they have a chance to published their work and earn money from their writing. I don’t ask for any certain percentage from your sales. You keep all profit from your books.

What if my chapter book is lost in the mail? And, how can I prevent this?
This question is addressed in the Agreement Form received upon order. I am not responsible for US mail losses. However, to prevent this, I would suggest that you request to have your chapter books insured by the US Postal Service. This costs extra, but is helpful. If your chapter book is insured and lost in the mail, the post office will be responsible and must pay the loss. I will reprint your chapbooks at no extra cost.

How many pages, words and lines are allowed?
With Plan A, up to 30 pages maximum, which is 31 lines or 250 words. Plan B, unlimited pages, which is 45 lines or 470 words.

How many chapter books do I get free?
With Plan A, five free chapter books with your first order of ten. Plan B, ten free chapbooks with your first order of twenty.

How much does it cost to reorder the same printed chapter book?
If you are reordering either Plan A or Plan B, both will cost only $5.00, plus postage and insurance cost.

How do I copyright my chapter books?
I am not responsible for the copyright protection of your chapter book. My services only cover printing and layouts. In contrast, to have this instated, I highly suggest that you either contact your local Copyright Office and follow through with their requirements.

There has been some talk about the poor man's copyright method and it is not legally binding. The poor man's copyright is when you mail your completed manuscript to yourself and never open the envelope. This will not do anything advantageous for you in a court setting other than establish a date of completion.

The only real, legal way to copyright any material is to register it with the government by completing their forms and paying their $30 fee.

I have both poems and short stories. Can I have both printed at the same time?
Yes. You must mark the appropriate information on the order form so I know what exactly you want printed.

Can the cover image be in color?
At this time, no. However, I may consider using color images later. But, in the meantime, cover images are only in black and white.

What can you edit?
I will edit the following in your manuscript:
Characters
Dialogue
Scenes
Point of View
Plot
Style
Pace
Language
Imagery
Viewpoint
Structure
Beginning, Middle & End

What aspects of editing are used? Editing, Reading, Typing, etc.?
Correct spelling, grammar tense, correct usage of punctuation, flow of story, nouns, verbs, fragments, grammatical corrections and more.
