Born in Romford, Essex, has a brother called James and a sister called Julie.

When Jo was younger, whenever there was a karaoke machine around, she'd be on it! Since then, the only way to get her off stage was the pull the plug.

While working in a bar, someone approached her and asked if she'd audition for S Club 7. She said yes.

Before Jo joined the S Club 7 she was in a band called 2-4 Family and and had a Top 40 hit in Germany. She was also in the band Solid Harmony before they got famous.

Apparently, she's parp at fixing cars! Also she can't swim or work on computer, but luckily for us - she can still sing!
