Favourite Foods= Artifical, but live foods are prefered Other Info= There are two varation of this fish, there is the Gold Severum and the Green Severum. Breeding Info= TANK: A tank with 51G (200L) per pair, flat stones on the bottom. GENDER: imperceptible; the male is vividly colored, his dorsal and anal fins are more drawn out than the female's; his head is patterned with a sprinkling of reddish brown dots and wavy lines, which are absent in the female. BREEDING RATIO: 1 Male : 1 Female BREEDING WATER:25-28C (78-84F); pH of 6-6.5; dCH max. 1. OTHER BREEDING INFO: This fish is territorial and aggresive during the spawning period, otherwise quiet and peaceful. The female will lay 1,000 or more eggs on a firm object on the bottom. The incubation period is about 48 hours (2 days).
