我是谁？Who am I?

我叫巫达，是一位来自四川大凉山的彝族，现在正在香港中文大学人类学系攻读博士学位。到香港之前，我在中国社会科学院民族研究所从事彝族语言文化研究工作，为助理研究员。在大学期间。我的专业是语言学，在硕士期间，专攻语言、宗教与文化认同方面的研究，1998年到香港中文大学攻读硕士学位时，我的硕士论文题目是《语言、宗教与彝族文化认同》，现在，在我的博士课程期间，我打算研究四川省凉山彝族自治州地区的彝族（自称诺苏）、藏族（自称尔苏，汉称西番）和当地汉族之间的族群关系及其族群与文化认同。
My name is Wu Da. I am a Yi from The Great Cool Mountains (Da Liangshan in Chinese), Sichuan province. I am now persuing my Ph.D. programme in The Department of Anthropology, The Chinese Univeristy of Hong Kong. Before I came here, I was a research fellow ansistant in The Institute for Nationalities studies, The Chinese Acadame of Social Sciences. My research intrest is Language, Religion and Cultural Identity. When I was in univeristy, my major was Linguistics. In September 1998, I came to Hong Kong for my M.Phil. degree. According to my superviser's suggestion, I fucos my intrest on Ethnic relations and cultural Identiy. My M.Phil. dissertation was Language, Religion and Cultural Identity: A Case Study of Two Yi Villages in Liangshan, Sichuan. Now I am planning to study the relationship among Yi(who call themselves Nuosu), Tibetan(who call themselves Er'su, called Xi Fan by Han) and Han: an anthropological approach on their ethnic and cultural identity.
