The Story of Civilization
Author Will Durant was first introduced to me by Dr. William D. Leith at the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida. I think of Dr. Leith as a father and am grateful for his generosity and his undivided attention. The entire collection of the Story of Civilization was given to me as gifts on Christmas day. Author Durant was a great writer. This collection is highly recommended.

Ramayana
Few
works in world literature have inspired so vast an audience, in
nations with radically different languages and cultures, as the
Ramayana and Mahabharata, two Sanskrit verse epics written some 2,000
years ago. Ramayana (the Journey of Rama) is perhaps the world's
oldest literature. Cherished throughout India and Asia for millennia,
it has been faithfully preserved and passed on in varied forms of
popular expression-epic poems, folk tales, music, dance, drama, puppet
shows, sculpture, painting, even films and comic books. Its story and
characters have captured the hearts and minds of countless generations
with all its nobility of spirit, courtly intrigue, heroic
renunciation, fierce battles, and triumph of good over evil. You can find the mural paintings depicting a story of Ramayana
at the Emerald Buddha Temple in Bangkok, Thailand.
