The fifth child of George Alderson and Abigail Callison McClung was b. 2 Feb 1843. (JG=Samuel E.) He md 2 May 1864 to Margaret R. Odell. (She was b. May 1845; d. 26 Nov 1920). He died 4 Mar 1931. They resided at Mt. Lookout, WV. Twelve children and were listed with their first six in the 1880 census of Nicholas (except Ellis who had died before then.)
Margaret R. O'DELL was born 1845. She married Samuel Roberts MCCLUNG on 1864.
