Slam Dunk is a nice story to tell. If you read or watch it at the first time, you will adicted then... Hahhaha... It's true heroic, humorist, romantic, dramatic, sportive story (we can say it "all in one"). Especially for basketball lovers, this will be a nice exploration in basketball knowledge. The story is about a guy named Hanamichi Sakuragi, whom hated basketball very much, till he met a girl named Haruko Akagi whom love basketball very much. This girl was the reason for Sakuragi to join basktetball team in Sohoku Senior High School. The team's dream was to win national basketball competition and the team led by Takenori Akagi who's Haruko's brother, and he taugh Sakuragi many things. Sakuragi was an amateur in basketball, but along with time he became a basketball genius and his motivation for playing basketball was change, not becouse of Haruko anymore but becouse he really loved basketball.There are many different and uniqe character that Sakuragi met from friends to anemies that would make this story more attractive (Kaede Rukawa, Ansai Sensei, Sendoh, and many more).
