(Live from the sold out Enron Field in Houston, Texas, the WWWCW presents WWWCW Crossroads!)

SCHIAVONE: We've got a great show in store for you tonight folks, the new regime indeed is here, and tonight will showcase some of the biggest and brightest new stars in the 3WCW!

Sensational Shayne vs. Crush
** This match wasn't but a few minutes in when Crush started to dominate. Shayne showed the rust that has resulted from his being inactive the last month or so, and Crush took it to him early and often. Late in the match, with Crush whipping Shayne off the ropes, Dark Dawg, who had snuck to ringside, grabbed Shayne's ankle, tripping him up and allowing Crush to get the pin. As soon as the three count was made, Crush and Dark Dawg stood toe to toe, as the crowd watched in suspense. This would be a preview of what was to come later in the triple threat match. Both gave each other deep stares before retreating to their respective dressing rooms. **
Crush defeated Sensational Shayne by pin in 0:11:24.

Triple H vs. Hunter
** As these two opponents made their way to the ring, it became more and more apparent that the match may never see an end. As soon as the second man, Hunter hit the ring, the lights started to flicker on and off. Finally after the lights were down for close to 3 minutes, they quickly came back on, only to reveal to the crowd and the TV audience both Triple H and Hunter are laid out in the middle of a rendering of an anarchy logo. The words 'Judgement Day is here.' are scrawled out on the ring surface surrounding them, and the new D-X, Justin Animal and Ric Flair are shown in the ring looking around trying to find who was responsible. **
Triple H vs. Hunter - No Contest

SCHIAVONE: The Masked Man!!! The Masked Man!!! He's still here! Look out tonight 3WCW, you could be in for a long night!

Lazerus vs. X-Treme
** This was the first true example of what wrestling should be that we'd seen tonight. Both participants came in charged up about new opportunities and new directions for their careers in the 3WCW. The match started off very rough, with both men simply street brawling. This sort of match would be expected to favor X-Treme, who is the self-proclaimed 'X-Cellence of Hardcore'. Tonight would be no different, and X-T started to put a whoopin to Laz. One false move turned that momentum on him though, as a quick reversal of a belly-to-back suplex put X-Treme in a compromising position. Lazerus started to work over the former hardcore champ, and was evening the match out. Whipping X-Treme into the ropes, Laz looked to have a huge advantage, and was just looking for an opportunity to get the pin. X-T had other ideas though, and grabbed a hold of the ropes, sliding underneath to catch a breather outside the ring. While the ref paid attention to X-Treme still standing outside the ring, Bossman and Shamrock came down from the crowd behind the announcers table! Bossman and Shamrock went to work on Laz in the back of the ring, Bossman using his night stick, and Shamrock attacking Laz with a kendo stick! The Armageddon Project was having a revolution of it's own! Shamrock and Bossman finished up with Lazerus just as the ref turned around while X-Treme jumped back into the ring. X-Treme went for the pin, only to have Mike Awesome come out from the back, with both Bossman and Shamrock laid out in front of him. Awesome tossed the ref aside, pulled X-Treme off of Laz, and dropped him with a steel chair. Awesome then laid Laz's arm over X-Treme, and slapped the unconscious referee's hand three times to give Laz the win. **
Lazerus defeated X-Treme by pin in 0:22:01.

Ken Shamrock vs. Ryan Kaige
** This match drew some serious heat during preparations for Crossroads, as both of these guys who are relative newcomers to the 3WCW ring were really heating it up backstage. The big question that remained however...would Shamrock be in any condition to fight after the last match's events, and what repercussions would his attack on Lazerus have? Both answers were evident early. A horribly beaten and thus overmatched Shamrock was being pummled by Kaige early on. Kaige impressed in his first match on the 3WCW's canvas, and dominated this match with a tough Shamrock. Shamrock has proven to be one of the up and coming stars in the fed, and would not go down without a strong effort. Showing an obvious limp on his left leg, Shamrock grimaced as he executed several moves on Kaige, including trying to lock the Ankle Lock Submission. This was an obvious attempt at an easy way out of the match for Shamrock, but his wishes were not fulfilled. Lazerus and Awesome came rushing to the ring, taking a pair of brass knuckles to the back of Shamrock's head. This disqualified Kaige, and he was furious. Kaige took umbrage with the official, several times making contact with him, which will surely draw a fine. Shortly following, however, Kaige decided to focus his energy on Laz and Awesome. As Kaige went to work, help arrived in the form of Bossman. Things were starting to even out when Lyle Wile and Venom made their way to ringside and cleared out everyone. This naturally brought D-X to ringside, but Wile and Venom were able to escape through the crowd as again Animal and Flair were left searching for someone to beat on. **
Ken Shamrock defeated Ryan Kaige by DQ in 0:24:22.

Triple Threat Match
Dark Dawg vs. John Casey vs. Crush

** Crush came out in this match already warmed up and ready to go. He and the Dark Dawg worked over Casey early on, using a multitude of moves on Casey that were quite tag-teamish. The old buddies seemingly had found a way to work together toward a common goal. However, about midway through the match, with Casey set up and about to bow out of the match, a double arm-whip into the ropes got Casey out of the way and provided the opportunity for Crush to take his chance at a victory. He wound up and nailed his buddy Dark Dawg with a roundhouse kick to the temple. Dark Dawg was quite stunned for a few minutes, as Crush eliminated John Casey. When Dark Dawg finally came to, he was incensed. DD went straight for the jugular on Crush, nailing him with a swift array of moves that no one had seen from the Dawg before, and may never see again. He moved with intensity and purpose. Dawg was in complete control of the match when Crypt Keeper came out on top of the ramp. The Keeper kept a close eye on the match while Dark Dawg continued to dominate in the ring. Finally Crush managed to establish a bit of a ring presence again, and mounted a bit of a comeback. While he and DD continued back and forth in the ring, a -HUGE- pop came from the crowd...as everyone turned their heads to see what was going on, Justin Animal and Ric Flair appeared behind Crypt Keeper on the ramp. When Keeper finally realized what was happening, he turned around and very slowly began to back down the ramp toward the ring. Meanwhile, Dark Dawg had regained control in the match and gotten the 3 count on his former partner, Crush. As the drama outside the ring continued, Crypt Keeper had finally gotten all the way to the ring, and climbed inside looking for refuge. Animal and Flair both climbed in also, and a few tense seconds passed. Finally, Flair smiled and offered both Dark Dawg and Crypt Keeper D-X t-shirts! Justin Animal looked incredulous at this offer from Flair, and appeared to be obviously upset and stomping around the ring as Crossroads went to commercial... **
Crush defeated John Casey by pin in 0:10:56.
Dark Dawg defeated Crush by pin in 0:24:32.

SCHIAVONE: We're back, and it looks like D-X is getting stronger just as they promised! Two more members, and one of them still with a chance to win gold tonight!

(Animal and Flair are shown backstage arguing about something...)

ANIMAL: Alright, if you say it's taken care of, I trust you Naych, but you better not have screwed this up for us.

FLAIR: Trust me Justin...

ANIMAL: That was a bad choice of words...

FLAIR: It's all under control, they won't know what hit them.

(Meanwhile, Dark Dawg and Crypt Keeper, in their new D-X shirts, are shown devising a plan of their own...)

WWWCW Tag Team Title Match
Lyle Wile and Venom (c) vs. Degeneration X

** There has been no love lost between these two teams in the days leading up to tonights event, and this match would be no different. However, there were now extenuating circumstances that could affect the outcome. Were Dark Dawg and Crypt Keeper members of D-X now? Did Flair bait them for some other reason? Those questions aside, this match started similarly to the rest of Animal and Flair's involvement of the night. D-X came to the ring and waited for about 5 minutes for the tag champs to show. Finally sick of waiting, they had the ref ring the bell and went backstage in search of the tag champs. What they found was an ambush from Dark Dawg and Crypt Keeper! DD and Keeper had locked the tag champs inside their dressing room, and waited for D-X to come backstage! They threw the t-shirts back at Flair! Animal stepped in and started to clean house a bit, while Flair got tossed into the chair blocking the door where Wile and Venom were being held hostage. Wile and Venom seemed surprised by the scene outside their room, but helped to dispose of Dark Dawg and Crypt Keeper nonetheless. Then it was back to the ring where Wile and Venom appeared to be in complete control of the championship match. But the veterans Animal and Flair were not going to go down that easily. Animal did a lot of come from behind work on Wile, and Flair snuck around behind the ring and did a number on Venom with a chair. Without a partner to tag out to, Wile was left in the ring and subject to the beatings of both Flair and Animal. They don't fight clean, they fight to win, and win they did. Justin hit his Animal Driver, then tagged out to Flair, who put the screws to Wile with a Figure Four Leglock. **
Degeneration X defeated Lyle Wile/Venom by submission in 0:28:29.
(Degeneration X wins the WWWCW Tag Team Titles)

WWWCW Television Title Match
The Sandman (c) vs. Crypt Keeper
** Sandman showed up to this bout apparently punch drunk, or if he didn't show up that way, that's how he left. The episode with Flair and Animal must've left a sour taste in Keeper's mouth, because he made short work of the Sandman in this match. With Dark Dawg watching the ramp like an eagle, making sure there would be no interference, Crypt Keeper went about his business and put the Sandman to sleep. Keeper got the pin and placed Sandman in his casket...DD and Keeper were just lifting the casket to head backstage when again the lights flickered and finally went out. When the lights came back up, the casket was gone, Keeper and Sandman were gone, and the only thing remaining to be seen was a faint shadow of two figures high in the corner rafters of Enron's retractable roof. Two figures? **
Crypt Keeper defeated The Sandman by pin in 0:13:06.
(Crypt Keeper wins the WWWCW Television Title)

SCHIAVONE: Has the Masked Man been recruiting too?!?! There were two distinct shadows up there! Crossroads is heating up!

WWWCW Hardcore Title Match
Bossman (c) vs. Mike Awesome

** Bossman came out for this match looking as focused as ever. After the confrontation with Awesome earlier, he was looking to end Awesome's career. Unfortunately for Awesome, someone had beaten him to it. Awesome staggered down to the ring barely knowing where he was. He had one eye swollen shut, as well as several other body parts bleeding. He insisted that he was ready to wrestle, and Bossman proved that he wasn't. A couple chair shots to the head of Awesome, punctuated by a body slam through a table, and Awesome was unconscious. The ref called for the bell. **
Bossman defeated Mike Awesome by knockout in 0:08:49.
(Bossman retains the WWWCW Hardcore Title)

SCHIAVONE: What in the world happened to Awesome? Was it Shamrock, was it Bossman, was it X-Treme? Who would do such a thing?!?!?!

(Rage is shown backstage with Lyle Wile and Venom, The New Youngbloods. Rage shakes his head in agreement and shakes hands with Wile and Venom.)

WWWCW Intercontinental Title Tournament
Match 1: Rage vs. Sting

** The Stinger had made his presence well known in the 3WCW before the management change, and nothing would change under the new regime. But, unfortunately for Sting, in the other corner was another guy who is known a little...Rage. These two budding superstars went to work on each other in what looked like another street fight, with both men being bloodied early on. Rage appeared to be slipping though, and it seemed as though the Stinger was well on his way to claiming the first birth in the IC title match. Opinions changed when The New Youngbloods came to ringside. Wile and Venom appeared to put a fear into both men in the ring. Or at least real fear into one. Wile and Venom climbed into the ring, each grabbing one of the wrestlers in the current match. Sting prepared for the worse while Rage simple smiled and shook his head. Wile let loose of Sting as Rage just smiled and let Venom take a cheap shot at him. The ref automatically DQ'ed Sting. Rage had screwed Sting out of the match! Venom, Wile and Rage then went to work on an irate Sting before 3WCW officials could make it to the ring to clear the fracas. **
Rage defeated Sting by DQ in 0:14:30.
Rage moves on to the Title Match

SCHIAVONE: What a screwjob by Rage and the New Youngbloods! You can bet Sting won't settle for that, look for fireworks on Nitro tomorrow!

Match 2: Jon Plex vs. Ric Flair
** Flair seemed worn down by the grueling night he had thus far, but he also seemed resolved to be the IC Champ. He wasn't satisfied with winning the tag belts earlier in the night. He went to work on Plex quickly and efficiently, apparently trying to save as much as possible for the Title Match. Flair was putting the finishing touches on another Nature Boy victory when he glanced over at the crowd and saw something that made him do a double take. He quickly slapped the Figure Four on Plex and took off backstage...Animal seemed in disbelief in his dressing room, already wearing his referee shirt and the new Tag Title around his waist. Flair meanwhile was met with a clothesline as he turned the corner just behind the curtain under the Nitron. Two humongous bald men in black t-shirts and blue jeans were going to work on the Nature Boy when the camera feed was interrupted. **
Ric Flair defeated Jon Plex by submission in 0:17:29.
Ric Flair moves on to the Title Match

SCHIAVONE: Who is beating on the Nature Boy backstage?!?! We're trying desperately to get another camera back there, we'll see if Ric reappears for his Title Match.

WWWCW Intercontinental Title Match
Rage vs. Ric Flair

** While the crowd eagerly awaited the return of Flair for the title match, the Nitron fired up and showed three men bound up in the back of a limo. Two burly voices, behind the cameras start to speak.

VOICE: Well WWWCW, the new regime is indeed here. And when it's in with the new it's out with the old...

(The three bound men are turned around to reveal Flair, and The Maltby's!)

VOICE: We're taking this garbage out for permanent disposal, and as for the Intercontinental Title match, I don't think Ric here is going to make it.

(One of the men hits Flair with a taser.)

VOICE: Have a nice night! HAHAHAHAHAHA!

(Animal is shown backstage beside himself. He is under contract to referee the World Title match, and can't go after his partner Flair.)

Meanwhile, back in the ring, another huge smile crosses Rage's face. He furiously instructs the referee to ring the bell, and as that is done, a count begins. Flair is counted out, and Rage becomes the new IC Champ. ** Rage defeated Ric Flair by countout in 0:08:19.
(Rage wins the WWWCW Intercontinental Title)

SCHIAVONE: What is going on here?!?! Flair and the Maltby's are on a course for who knows where, Animal is bound to his contract to referee the next match, in which we finally get to meet the Masked Man! This is almost too much!

WWWCW World Heavyweight Title Match Special Guest Referee - Justin Animal
Vic Damon (c) vs. Masked Man

** It became very obvious early on that Justin Animal would have problems focusing on both this match as well as what was going on with his partner. Damon came out first, strutting around with his belt and showing off for his fans. Meanwhile, the Masked Man came swooping down from the rafters, and with the bell, the match was on. Damon made several futile attempts early on to remove the mystery that covered the Masked Man's face, but to no avail. These attempts only provided avenues for the MM to get in some good reversal moves. Every pin was a quick count from Animal, who appeared to be calling the match quick, but still down the middle. Further into the match however, Animal's past hatred for Damon started to show as he allowed the MM to get away with more and more in the corners and on the canvas. The more and more Animal caved toward the Masked Man, however, the more determined Damon became. Finally, at the crucial point in the match, Damon caught a roundhouse from the MM, and nailed MM with a jackknife powerbomb. This was enough of a blow to allow Damon time to rip off the mask and reveal........THE JUDGE! The Judge had been back in action from his injury all this time as the Masked Man, and no one had known! This knowledge pissed Damon off even more and he fought as if on a mission. Several suplexes, body slams, punches, low blows...Damon really worked the Judge hard. With The Judge obviously wearied and beaten, Damon put on the pin for what seemed to be a successful title defense. Animal was up to his old bag of tricks again, however, and began the slowest of counts. 1..................Damon was furious, but figured he had enough taken out of the Judge to last as long as Animal wanted to draw it out. 2...................As Animal slapped his hand down for the 2nd time, it appeared to have more of a rippling effect on the canvas than usual. The crowd soon found out that Animal wasn't that strong, it was coming from underneath the ring! A huge tear soon appeared in the Crossroads logo canvas, and from underneath the ring appeared...THE MASKED MAN!!! Was The Judge an impostor? There was another Masked Man! The Masked Man cleaned Damon of off The Judge, tossed Animal out of the ring. Animal, who was long indifferent to the match, simply grabbed the World Title belt and took off! Meanwhile, the Masked Man laid waste to Damon, and helped the Judge to his feet. The new Masked Man reached up to reveal his protected identity, and it was JOHNNY CANUCK! Canuck was back! Canuck and Judge both removed all of their black garb to reveal crimson and black t-shirts that read 'Apocalypse NOW' on the front, and 'Judgement Day is here.' on the back. It had been both the Judge and Johnny Canuck the whole time! The Masked Man had actually been the Masked Men! They made a motion toward the hole in the ring, and 3 more darkly dressed figures with masks on came out, and stood behind Canuck and the Judge in an almost army-like manner. The Judge and Canuck are back, and apparently have a following. **
Vic Damon vs. Masked Man - No Contest
(WWWCW World Heavyweight Title is VACATED.)

SCHIAVONE: With no clear winner in the match, the World Title has officially become vacated!!!!! It's currently in the hands of Justin Animal however, and I don't think he'll be willing to relinquish it anytime soon...Canuck and the Judge are back, and are apparently ready for war, a Judgement Day. Tune in to Nitro tomorrow night to see just what will happen next under the new regime!!!!!

(WWWCW Crossroads cuts to a shot of the limo stopping, and then to a shot of Animal speeding after them in his 2000 Dodge Viper. What on earth is happening with the owners of the fed, Eric and Markus Maltby? Will the 3WCW management get the World Title belt back from Justin Animal? How will the new World Champ be decided? Is Ric Flair in immediate danger? The answers to all these questions and more on Nitro...)
