Tonight the 3WCW brings Nitro to you live from the MCI Center in
Washington D.C. We have a packed card for you and things are really shaping
up to be big so lets get started......
CHALLENGE MATCH
The Ultimate vs Crush
This match pitted the formere Dark Dawg against his former friend and
stablemate, Crush, who hasn't said much of anything in recent weeks. Early
on the Ultimate showed us why thats his new name, with a new array of moves
and was relentless in his attack on the M.O.D. member. Ultimate never let up
and in what turned out to be a squash defeated Crush rather easily. After
the match he and Carmen continued to assault Crush until 3WCW officials
managed to stop them.
The Ultimate defeated Crush by pinfall
CHALLENGE MATCH
Bossman vs Ken Shamrock
Two men that know each other pretty well went at it in this one.
Bossman was once the mentor to Shamrock, back when we had our first change
in management, the Dangerous Duo turned on him and there's been monster heat
ever since. Well after Nitro last week when Bossman interfered in the Duo's
attack on his former partner the Judge things got hot once again and this
match certainly proved that. The former World Champ went tooth and nail with
Kenny in the early going, right from the bell it was non stop action.
Finally Shamrock managed to get the upper hand and had the Bossman reeling.
He was ready to slap on the Ankle Lock, but the prison guard was able to get
to the ropes. He then fought back with a kick to the stomach and a DDT. He
tossed Shamrock into the ropes and was about to hit him with the Switch, but
the Revolution member was able to duck it and come back with a vicious
clothesline. He again went in for the kill and this time got his finisher
locked in, the Bossman was fighting it and before he could tap the Judge hit
the ring with a chair and drilled Shamrock, causing the automatic DQ. Law
and Order then put a hurting on the World's Most Dangerous Man, which
brought X-Treme, who has a big tag match later on, from the back and them
four men were brawling until again security broke it up.
Ken Shamrock defeated Bossman by DQ.
HARDCORE TITLE MATCH
Destroyer (c) vs John Casey
These two men and Dr. Scott have been quite vocal in recent days and
what was booked as simply a hardcore title match has escalated into one of
the most heated feuds in the 3WCW today and it showed. Both men came out
with their weapons of choice, Destroyer and his trusty 2 x 4 and Casey with
what appeared to be a giant book!? Casey, who by societies standards is
crazy, wanted to bring some intellect into the world of Hardcore and
Destroyer wanted to simply continue his reign of destruction. Well both
managed to make their points in this one. The match went back and forth each
showing that he deserved the title, but once the match went to the backstage
area Destroyer was in trouble. The Ultimate and Hell Knight were waiting in
the wings and attacked the Champ, trying to eliminate him like Ultimate
aluded to earlier in the day. And it appeared as if they did just that, with
The Destroyer unconscious they John Casey made the cover and got the 1-2-3
to become the new Hardcore Champion!
John Casey defeated Destroyer by pinfall
John Casey won the 3WCW Hardcore Title.
CHALLENGE MATCH
Extreme Vic vs Crypt Keeper
This match was just one in what was sure to be a series of battles
between the M.O.D. and the tag champs and Vic was surely up for it. He took
it right to Keeper, who was no where to be found when his partner way being
attack earlier by their former friend. Is there dissention in the ranks? Who
knows, the only thing for certain was that Keeper was getting his ass handed
to him by the self proclaimed King of Extreme. Vic pulled out all the stops
and looked like he had the match won when Keeper reversed a pile driver
attempt into a back body drop then followed it up with the Caskets Padding,
but when Vic was on his way down from the Body drop he caught the ref with a
boot in the head, knocking him out. So when Keeper went for the cover there
was no ref, this brought the other half of Dark Defiance to the ring, and
Cyco laid out Keeper with a DDT and rolled Vic on top then woke up the ref
who made the 3 count and gave the victory to Extreme Vic.
Extreme Vic defeated Crypt Keeper by pinfall.
CHALLENGE MATCH
Cyco vs Mr. America
Before this match began suspended 3WCW star Vic Damon made his way
threw the crowd and took a seat at ringside. Cyco was already out in the
ring and noticed Damon and just shouted something at him, if you recall
Damon cost Hell Knight his match last week. Once Mr. America got to the ring
things got going in a hurry. With Cyco preoccupied with Damon America took
it too him and managed to keep the faster Cyco on the mat, showing that Cyco
wasn't the only technical wrestler in this fed. America worked him over with
an arm bar, but the Trinity member was able to get to the ropes and break
the hold. He then got the upper hand, a few arm drag take downs and America
was in trouble. Cyco sent the patriotic one into the corner, but he
sandwiched the ref between the turnbuckle and his body, laying him out. Cyco
then slapped the Str-8 Jacket on Mr. America and he tapped out, but with no
ref nothing could be done, just then Damon hoped the railing and jumped
Cyco, hitting a pile driver on him. America then took advantage of the
situation and hit the Liberty Bell as the ref regained his senses, America
made he cover and got the 1-2-3.
Mr. America defeated Cyco by pinfall.
TV TITLE MATCH
The Judge (c) vs Hell Knight
Hell Knight had two purposes in this match, one was to regain the TV
Title and two to get his revenge on Judge for costing him the title several
weeks ago. Judge had plenty of other things on his mind and was slowed in
this one by the injuries he sustained earlier in his battle with the
Dangerous Duo and HK took advantage. He really went at the champ hard and
aggressively. He used everything in his aresenal and looked as if he had the
title in his grasps, but he got too cocky and vet made him pay. Judge hit
the Trinity member with a clothesline sending him out to the floor, while
the ref was making the count X-Treme snuck threw the crowd on the other
side, came from behind the Judge and hit the X-Cite on him. Hell Knight got
in the ring and wasted no time covering the Judge to once again recapture
the TV Title gold!
Hell Knight defeated the Judge by pinfall
Hell Knight won the 3WCW TV Title
CHALLENGE MATCH
Lazerus/X-Treme vs Gravedigger/Venom
This high powered tag match featured four of the 3WCW top stars and it
really was a crowd pleaser. The Hell's Angels team of Digger and Venom were
much bigger than the New Revolution team, but they weren't as quick and that
was a big factor early on, however, it didn't take long for a few people to
stick their noses in. This match was barely under way when Death Warrent
made his presence known, coming out to the ramp and posing as a distraction
to the King of Darkness. The next to get involved were Ken Shamrock and
Johnny Canuck, who both attacked the Angels. As the 4 on 1 continued and DW
continued to look on, Bossman and Judge hit the ring, along with Mike
Awesome, they chased the Revolution away and the ref simply threw the match
out. But again DW just shook his head at Digger and headed back to his
dressing room.
Laz/XT vs Digger/Venom-No Contest
CHALLENGE MATCH
Mike Awesome vs Johnny Canuck
In a battle that Canuck has had more than he fair share of since
returning, it was a hungry young star against an older vet, who wants to
regain glory. Only this time the two men know each other very well as they
have gone at it several times before, each time though Awesome couldn't
match up to JC. This match, however, had added meaning to it, as far as the
Millennium Man was concerned, Awesome was aligned with Gravedigger, the man
JC hates most in this fed. JC took his hatred out on Awesome right from the
start, just really pulverizing the up and coming star. He was trying to put
Awesome in his place it appeared. And he was doing just that, until Awesome
fought back and after a quick kick in the midsection he had Canuck set up
for the Awesome Bomb and delivered. He climbed to the top for the Awesome
splash but when he got to his final destination there was no one home, the
vet used his wits and managed to get out of the way. He picked Awesome up
and hit him with the Millennium Mark, followed by the Canadian Death Lock.
Awesome tried to resist the pain, but couldn't and tapped out. But JC
refused to break the hold, this brought Death Warrent from the back with a
bat, he went straight for Canuck and the two began to rumble, then Digger
hit the ring too and all three were battling it out until security, who has
had to be on their game tonight managed to break it up.
Johnny Canuck defeated Mike Awesome by Submission.
MAIN EVENT
WORLD TITLE MATCH
Rage (c) vs Ryan Kaige
The best of friends turned into bitter rivals in this one, it's amazing
what gold can do to people. With the most prized possession in cyberspace
today on the line these two men put everything aside and it was hard to tell
they were even friends. Rage struck first, hitting a belly to belly suplex,
but the Corrupted One came right back with a DDT of his own. The match
continued this way all the way through, with counters and reversals and
going move for move. It was definetely one of the best "wrestling" matches
this company has seen in awhile. There was never a moment where one man had
the distinctive upper hand, they were both battling hard, then Rage managed
to plant Kaige with the Outrage Bomb. But Johnny Canuck came to spoil the
party. He nailed the ref then battled with Rage, while Kaige was laid out.
Once Kaige got up he joined in the fray, now the competitors acted as
friends, double teaming Canuck, who crashed their party. But JC managed to
follow through on a double clothesline taking both men down. This brought DW
out one more time, he had his bat with him and as Kaige rose to his feet he
swung at JC, but The Millennium Man ducked and Kaige was laid out once
again. JC then grabbed DW and hit the Millennium Mark. Then he grabbed the
Champion, Rage and gave him one too. He then left the ring. The ref finally
regained conscienceness and began to make the 10 count with both men out
cold. Then Kaige started to stir a little. He had cleared his head just
enough to crawl over to Rage, drape his hand across his chest and make a
cover. The ref began to count, 1......2..................... 3! We have a
new Champion, Ryan Kaige is the 3WCW World Champion. He helped Rage up, then
two shook hands after what started out as an extraordinary match and hugged
in the middle of the ring as Nitro went off the air.
Ryan Kaige defeated Rage by pinfall
Ryan Kaige won the 3WCW World Title.
