(Live from the Marine Midland Arena in Buffalo, New York, WWWCW presents THUNDER!)
("No Chance" plays throughout the arena, and the fans rise to their feet. The fans, unaware of the backstage happenings today, are expecting Joe Munno, until the video on the Thundertron is the one of Markus Maltby. The fans erupt, as the former president of WWWCW makes his way to the ring. He enters the ring, takes the mic from David Penzer)
Markus: Now I know none of you out here know why I'm here tonight. So I'm going to explain a few things to you. Today, there was an explosion between management and Gravedigger. The reason why Gravedigger walked out of Thunder last week was because he refused to do the job to Dark Defience, as Joe Munno had asked of him. Today, after Clash of the Champions, and a card for tonight's show, Gravedigger had had enough of Joe Munno. Gravedigger came out here, and said that Munno had basically flushed the company down the toilet with his "pointless angles" and "stupid decisions". And with that, Gravedigger handed his IC Title over to Mike Awesome, and called it a career.
(Crowd boos)
Markus: Nevertheless, Gravedigger is gone, and we must continue. Now folks, the reason I am out here. Because of the departure of Gravedigger, and the harsh words Digger had for this man, former president Joe Munno has resigned as the 3WCW President. With his resignation, this has left the door open for a 3WCW President. And incase you haven't figured it out yet, I have walked through that door, and taken back the job.
(Crowd cheers)
Markus: Hopefully those cheers will still be around after my next announcement. Due to the fact I am now in charge, and tonight was a card booked by Munno, it's a card that will never be, and Thunder will basically consist of this interview, and that's it.
(Crowd boos heavily)
Markus: However major announcements will evolve from this interview. To completely introduce the 3WCW to the Markus Maltby regime, ALL WWWCW Titles will be stripped tonight. That's right. All new champions will be decided on Monday Nitro, with the exception of the World Title. Here's how it looks. The TV Title will be decided in a match between Mr. America and the Crypt Keeper. The Hardcore Title will be decided in a fourway dance, between the Destroyer, X-Treme, Crush, and the Judge. In this match, the Hardcore Title will be suspended over the Nitron. For the Tag Team Titles, it'll be a 4 team Ladder Match, featuring M.O.D., Dark Defience, Law & Order, and Ultimate/Hell Knight. The Intercontinental Title Match will be a Triple Threat, Falls Count Anywhere Match, with Ultimate, Extreme Vic, and Ken Shamrock. And finally, the World Title. An 8 man tournament will commence, with the last 2 competitors fighting at our next PPV, August 27th. As for the tournament bracket, it is as follows. The winner of Johnny Canuck vs Lazerus will face the winner of Cyco vs Mike Awesome. On the other side, the winner of Death Warrent vs Bossman will face the winner of Venom vs John Casey. The winners of each bracket will face off next Sunday for the World Title. I would now like every 3WCW Champion to come out, and relinquish their title.
