The Pikes

The Northern Pikes

They are who I am listening to right now, when I am writing this. The 'Pikes were one of the best Canadian rock bands around, till there breakup in 1993/94. They are no more. But, the music lives on, in the albums. There also is at least one Muchmusic special on them (live on the Rock) and I would think more. They lasted from about 1985 to 94 so, they did well. They were the arcitypical Canadian band, you know, like the BTO song: "Get a Second hand guitar, chances are you will go far if you get in with the right bunch of fellows"
